“Receive threats following analysis of alleged audio clip of Nisar”

Garret Discovery, a US firm that examined an alleged tape of former Pakistan Chief Justice Saqib Nisar, claimed to have received a threatening call for its work to authenticate the audio tape.

“Today we got a call saying our lives were in danger and the same person said he was going to file a complaint against us for our file authentication work for Fact Focus. Over 1000 calls and Chat requests on our site. Threatening our team to get a different outcome is unethical, “he said on Twitter on Wednesday.

However, the company made no mention of where the call was coming from.

In the audio clip, we hear a voice, allegedly that of the former chief justice, saying, “I’m going to be a little blunt on this. Unfortunately, here it is the institutions that dictate the judgments. In this case, we will have to punish Mian sahab (Nawaz Sharif). [I] we were told ‘we have to bring Khan sahab (Imran Khan) [into power]. ‘”
