Myles Garrett Asked About Baker Mayfield: Fans Respond

Predictably, Baker Mayfield has circled Week 1 on the schedule when the Browns venture to Charlotte.

But it’s just another Sunday for All-Pro pass rusher Myles Garret:

There is no rivalry between me and him. There is no rivalry between the Panthers and the Browns. Yes, he was there, but that doesn’t mean I have an added sense of urgency to join him. I want to play my best… If I can help my team win and put them in the best position to win, I will. And if I can get a few bags along the way… that would be nice too.

Fans reacted to Garrett’s prospects on Tuesday.

“I can not wait !” a user replied.

“He’s right. The Panthers have been better in the last ten years than the Browns. More playoff wins and SB appearances. There’s no rivalry. That said, Baker is going to kick their ass. ass,” a Baker fan tweeted.

“Baker always talks about him!” commented a Cleveland fan. “Not the adult in the room!”

“Yeah, it’s not between Baker and his old boss. It’s between Baker and every senior in the Browns organization,” another said. “Duh.”

We will see September 11 coming at noon ET.
