Good news! Contract signed for a new fire station in this town of Tipperary

Tipperary County Council is pleased to announce that approval has been granted to award the contract to build a new fire station at Wallers Lot, Cashel.

This construction contract worth €2.5 million has been awarded to Finna Construction Ltd, Cross, Cong, Tipperary.

Work will start on the site before the end of September 2022 and it is expected that the work will be completed by the end of 2023.

Commenting on the news, Dave Carroll, Fire Chief of the Tipperary Fire and Rescue Service, said it was great news for the Tipperary Fire Service, Cashel Fire Department and the Town of Cashel.

This new fire station will significantly upgrade and improve the facilities of the Cashel Fire Department and ensure that the Cashel Fire Department will continue to provide an effective response to emergencies in the future.
